Sincere place. Mouth-watering polenta and excellent venison. A little high with prices but we are in Switzerland and it fits. Friendliness of a genuine mountain tavern, simple and abundant dishes. Rustic and bold wine but they cost a little too much. The only flaw of the peak is that you only pay in cash... but we are in the mountains in the middle of nowhere... that fits too. We return.

A real gem in the middle of the woods of Monte San Giorgio. Typical cuisine of a real Ticino grotto, genuine and without frills and flights of fancy (polenta and cold cuts). Prices in the Swiss average.
